TID5
The Village of Mount Pleasant’s Tax Increment District No. 5 (TID5) is located in the western side of the village boundaries and is conveniently located along the Interstate 94 corridor. The location of TID5 provides easy access to metropolitan Milwaukee and Chicago.
TID5 was created on November 20, 2017 and includes approximately 3,900 acres of Business Park zoned land which is being marketed as the best shovel ready site in the Midwest. The Business Park zoning is primarily intended to accommodate manufacturing and warehousing buildings, as well as office and commercial buildings commonly found in business parks located adjacent to interstates. Recent area infrastructure upgrades include sanitary sewer improvements, water system improvements, stormwater management system improvements, upgraded electric service, public road improvements and extensive grading. These improvements not only make TID5 an attractive location for many types of high-tech manufacturing and technology uses, but also benefit the entire Village of Mount Pleasant.
Mount Pleasant’s TID5 is currently home of the Foxconn, Ashley Capital, and Endeavor developments.
