Health Department public health nurses provide numerous services that promote
safe and healthy living.
Health Education
Staff provides educational programs on pregnancy prevention,
teen parenting, tobacco, nutrition, hand washing and other outreach programs.
Please call if interested in partnering with the health department on
education.
Mother/Infant Visits
Public health nurses are available to expectant or new mothers
and their babies for support and tips related to anything from breastfeeding to
safety.
Prenatal Postpartum & parenting Programs
Blood Pressure Clinics
Blood pressure checks are offered by appointment or at clinics
for residents.

Free Car Seat Checks
