There is a dead or fallen tree within Village right-of-way that needs to be removed. Whose responsibility is it?
If the tree is located in Village right-of-way and is deemed a potential hazard, the Village will remove the tree at no cost to the property owner. If a fallen tree is located within a waterway and is deemed a significant impediment to flow within that waterway, the Village will agree to remove the tree and leave it on the property from which it was removed, pending written permission from the property owner.
