It is the goal of the Building Department to provide efficient building, heating and electrical permitting services. The Building Department provides an orderly examination and overview of all construction projects throughout the village. The department provides plan review and on site inspections for all residential projects which include the construction of new homes, additions to existing homes, remodeling, sheds, garages and swimming pools, etc. In addition, the Building Department conducts on site inspections for all commercial and industrial buildings.

Inspections are governed by State codes and Village ordinances and are enforced consistently for each project.
