The Community Development Department works with other departments, boards, commissions, and the Community Development Authority to attract business and investment within the community, and promote the general economic health of the Village. Community Development serves as a primary contact for new business interest and aids in assisting the everyday needs of Village residents, promoting customer service and a sense of community.

Adding to our strong geographic location in the Milwaukee-Chicago corridor, the Village has two (2) Tax Incremental Districts (TIDs) that have been created to aid in additional economic growth:
