On behalf of all the sworn and civilian staff members, I invite you to explore our website and Facebook page (Police Department Facebook). Please visit us on Facebook to stay updated and informed of current interests and other important information.

The Village of Mount Pleasant is geographically one of the largest and most populated Villages in the State of Wisconsin, measuring approximately 36 square miles and having nearly 27,000 residents.

There are five major state highways traveling through Mount Pleasant, which bring people safely to their destinations. The Village is bordered on the east by Lake Michigan and the City of Racine, on the north by the Village of Caledonia, on the west by the Town of Yorkville and on the south by the Town of Somers, Kenosha County.

Our department emphasis is on Community Policing to instill cooperation with the citizens and business owners to make Mount Pleasant a safe place to live, work, and visit. Our citizens are served by the Racine County Communications Center, which provides 24/7 police, fire and EMS dispatch to your call for service. If you need to contact dispatch, please call 262-886-2300; or 911 if an emergency.
