Antifreeze and Waste Oil Collection Site

The Department of Public Works offers an antifreeze and waste oil collection site. Reservoirs for dropoff are located at the Public Works Facility at 8700 Campus Drive, residents can access the reservoirs using the south driveway entrance. The collection site is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is no charge to use the collection site.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

The Village participates with the Racine Wastewater Utility for the collection of Household Hazardous Waste. This program is available to all residents in Mount Pleasant. 

Collection events take place every 3rd Saturday of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from April through October. The collection site is located at 1831 Phillips Avenue, Racine, 53403.
