Bulk Pickup

The Village contracts through GFL Environmental for waste disposal and recycling collection services. Each household in the Village is provided one free annual bulk pickup, up to a maximum of seven cubic yards. Televisions and freon appliances are not included in the one free annual bulk pickup. Each additional bulk pickup is a charge of $50.00 per bulk item.

GFL Environmental accepts items such as appliances, building materials, carpeting, and furniture for bulk pickup. When placing items curbside, be sure to follow the restrictions listed below. Items placed outside of the restrictions may not be collected. 

Building Materials and Construction Debris

• Must be broken down and neatly containerized
• Items cannot be loose on the ground
• Bins with debris cannot weigh more than 50 pounds
• Containers cannot have materials sticking out greater than four feet in length

Cardboard

• Must be in a container or bundled with twine or duct tape
• Cannot be larger than two feet by two feet

Carpeting

• Must be rolled and taped or tied
• Cannot be longer than four feet in length
• Must weigh less than 50 pounds

Furniture Items

• Must weigh less than 150 pounds

Tires

• Must be off the rim
• Limit of one tire, per week
