The primary function of the Village Clerk/Treasurer office is to provide service to citizens. The majority of our duties include direct contact with the public as well as elected officials. The department oversees the operation of Tax Collection, Licenses, Elections, Board of Review, Clerk, and Treasurer. The Clerk/Treasurer also attends Village Board and Finance/Legal/License Committee meetings and records minutes.
Archiving Village documents, official proceedings, ordinances, and resolutions
Maintaining boards and commissions applications and appointments
Maintaining Village meeting and election materials
Developing agreements and leases
Administering dog licenses
Publicizing of legal notices
Recording official documents
Administering special events permits

Hours: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
