Holiday Inn Express & Suites


NRE Hospitality received approval for a new four-story, 93 room Holiday Inn Express & Suites at the April 20, 2016 Plan Commission meeting.  The project will be located at 13317 Hospitality Court, next to the existing Holiday Inn.  This project would replace the current Holiday Inn, which would likely change name to a differing franchise. Completion scheduled for June 2017.

Racine Hyundai


The Plan Commission approved the site plan and rezoning for the new Racine Hyundai facility (to be located at 13313 Washington Avenue) at their July 20, 2016 meeting.  This 22,000 square foot facility would replace the existing dealership location in the Village of Sturtevant.  Access will be served off Hospitality Court and Galaxy Drive.  Project completion is likely in early 2017.

Willkomm Retail Center


Since November 2014, the Village has been working with Willkomm Development LLP on the redevelopment of 15 parcels at the southeast corner of Spring Street & STH 31.  Final site plan approval was granted for the project at the July 20, 2016 Plan Commission.  The project site (5.5 acres) will include a large car wash facility, a Willkomm's Convenience Store/Mobil Fuel Station, a Dunkin Donuts, and The Dish restaurant.  A future phase II would include an additional 2-3 tenant retail building.  The project spans from Ohio Street to STH 31, Spring Street to Sunnyside Avenue, with the exception of the Belle City Veterinary Clinic.  Estimated completion is Spring 2017.
