Stewart-McBride Park is located on Highway 11, just west of Highway 31, on 37 nicely shaded acres. It is connected to the county bike path, making it the perfect destination while enjoying a bike ride with your family. Stewart-McBride Park contains two perfectly manicured softball diamonds, which are used for Mt. Pleasant’s youth softball league. Other amenities offered by the park are two well-kept sand volleyball courts and fully functioning bathrooms. Stewart-McBride offers a large shelter complete with many picnic tables, which is available to reserve. The oversized playground area offers many opportunities for climbing, swinging, sliding, running, or just playing in the sand. The small hill on the north side of the park; becomes a nice sledding hill during the winter, especially for beginning sledders.
